Hello.  It has been interesting to read all the ideas re DUI's.  No one has mentioned better education for teen-agers.  When my kids were in high school, they learned that drinking with friends was one of the major way kids got together.  I was surprised to learn how popular the idea was.  One thing the kids need is a place where they can hang out without drinking; a place with music and a place to dance and visit; more than what we have now.  I don't know if there is a good educational program available, or even time in the school day to teach about this topic.  But I would gladly talk to a class about how my life changed when my husband was killed in a car crash.    Maybe the better educated kids would become more responsible adult drivers.
