[MissoulaGov] Recycling

I too, have been trying to purchase glass cullet with which to "gravel" my driveway, landscape etc, as I really do not want to contribute to gravel mining if I do not have to. (besides, it looks hot!) I tried to purchase some from LS Jensen who helped MUD coordinate the pulverization at the Caras Park Earth Day festival. I was told that Msla Fed Credit Union already had dibs on all that glass for their new building...I'm still looking.
My point is, it seems that there is ample supply of glass that folks want to recycle and ample demand for the cullet. I imagine it would just take an enterprising business student to figure out how to connect up the supply and demand to make this pencil out in Missoula.
Bob, I hope you win another term. Not only has your voice and your vote on council been extremely valuable to our community, but so has this listserve. This is an "extra" thing that you do without extra compensation. The list has really added A LOT to government transparency and local issue understanding (I know I continue to learn something every week on this list). Thanks so much for your service to the community.
