[MissoulaGov] pay attention....

Car drivers please pay attention to cyclists and pedestrians, cyclists please pay attention to pedestrians (and of course every other hazard to people-powered movement), everyone please hang-up and "drive".
....and MissoulaGov respondents:

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE>>> pay attention to the minimal "rules" for using these communications by deleting previous content when you reply! Getting "digest form" messages with 8 previous replies embedded makes it nearly impossible to find your message amongst all the previous reply text. And I really really would like to read what you have to say without having to scan / re-read everything else.

Dave:
Stephens bulb-outs are NOT a shining example of good pedestrian, bike design. The bike-lane is non-existent around the curve and it disappears at Beckwith (where a tri-cyclist was recently hit by a car)...and in most Stephens segments the island vegetation screens the crossing bike/peds from the high-speed through traffic.

Perhaps it is time for the City to hire a real Transportation Engineer as the Missoulian suggested.

Thanks for reading,
John Wolverton
