Since the topic arose on this list this week, I thought I'd pass along this announcement for comment on Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood’s
proposal to make certain bike-pedestrian improvement projects located near
transit stops eligible for federal transit funding. See below.

Friday, the Federal Transit Administration published a Notice in

the
Federal Register proposing to make pedestrian and bicycle

improvements
within a certain radius of transit stops/stations eligible

for
