The goat wrangling would be quite an enterprise to figure out.  As a
cyclist, I would prefer well-wrangled goats to herbicide next to the
bike/ped trail. It's the imaginative solution!

I'm not sure how it works, but that's what one farm does down near Park City
(MT).  I suppose they'd have to stop spraying so the milk products would be
edible, of course.  And if you have to pay for poison or pay a goatherd a
wage, I'd rather put the money into the local economy, hiring people to keep
the goats than hiring a petro-chemical pollution-puking plant to spray us
all with the nasty chemicals you mention.
