Using that logic, Missoula may as well ban cars all together, since plenty
of people are killed and "cracked up" by others NOT using cell phones ... I
think the point... again.. is that distracted driving is a serious offense, and
is already illegal. Cell phones are one of many distractions currently
afflicting drivers. I am just wondering what else should be banned in Missoula...?
CB radio operation in a vehicle... is that less dangerous somehow ?... lets
not just pick on cell phone users.
For the record... I ride a motorcycle, and will no doubt be cracked up by a
cell phone user for even commenting on this ! I guess I just get annoyed by
the steady trickle of rules, which prevent 99% of the people from doing what
they want, because 1% can't handle the freedom.

Yes and a traffic ticket, as David suggests, would go a long way toward
helping out the motorist or cyclist cracked up or killed in an accident
caused
by a cell phone distraction, how very true that is.
