On multifamily construction in commercial versus residential lots: I think
another solution to consider when the rewrite is through is to have the City
initiate rezoning in areas appropriate for multifamily housing. Ideally
these rezones would occur near public infrastructure, facilities, and
services. While I'm happy you kept the Commercial zones open to multifamily
development, it will be important going forward to make map amendments for
appropriate areas to take higher density.
