[MissoulaGov] Remember to Register to Vote!

For clarification, Monday, October 6 is the last day of regular voter registration.
Late registration begins the next day and runs through election day. However, late and same-day registrants can ONLY vote at the elections office (Msla courthouse). They cannot vote at their local precinct. So, the October 6th deadline is important because lines are generally much longer at the courthouse than at the precincts.
 
October 6 is also the deadline for signing up to receive an absentee ballot by mail. After the 6th, however, unless something has changed, you can still walk into the elections office, get handed an absentee ballot, and vote and turn it in right there.

Oh, sorry Ed.  I just got a reminder from someone else and passed it on.  We do have same day registration here don't we?  Is that just in Missoula or for the whole state?
