Zoning is the single most effective tool Montanans have for shaping the
collective future of their cities, and Missoula is about to embark upon
an over two-year process that will completely rewrite its zoning
ordinance--which controls building density and height, neighborhood
composition (i.e., single-use or mixed-use) and variety of other
features that will define the future appearance of Missoula's expanding
cityscape. There are few things the government will be up to over the
next couple of years that matter as much to Missoula's future as this.

The process kicks off Wednesday, June 27, from 6 to 9 PM at St. Patrick
Hospital's Broadway Conference Center and the public is encouraged to
participate.
