Subject: Subdivision Leaders - Summary On Recovery Act

Here is a preliminary summary of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 related to early childhood that DEC and ITCA developed together. Please feel free to share. We are posting it on the DEC website.

This legislation contains significant funds for IDEA (Part B, 611 and 619 and Part C) as well as significant increases for Title 1, Head Start, Early Head Start and Child Care.
