Action Needed – House Proposal Would Double Funding for IDEA Part B and Part C
Ask Your Members of Congress for Their Support!!

Please join CEC in supporting the economic recovery package currently being considered by Congress to address the fiscal crisis.  On January 15, the House Appropriations Committee Chairman, Rep. David Obey (D-WI), released the American Recovery and Reinvestment package which includes $13 billion for IDEA Part B – Grants to States and $600 million for IDEA Part C – Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities Program.  This additional funding would more than double the current funding for both Part B and Part C!

It is critical that you urge your Representatives and Senators to support the American Recovery and Reinvestment package, today!  Use this opportunity to explain how budget cuts have impacted your program.
