DEC is pleased to invite you to participate in a technical assistance
conference call to better understand ARRA and how it affects services to 

young children and their families

CONTENT: The DEC Governmental Relations Committee is hosting a conference
call for  DEC members and others who want to learn more about the ARRA and
what it means to early intervention/early childhood special education.  This
90 minute call includes:

 

-History of ARRA; 

-Major components of ARRA related to early childhood, particularly Part C
and the Preschool Grant Program of IDEA; 

-Specific aspects of ARRA and IDEA, including how funds can be used and
reporting requirements; and 

-Opportunities for comments, questions and sharing what's happening in your
state or community.
