As you are probably already aware, last week the House of 
Representatives voted against the Labor/HHS/Education appropriations 
bill, which included funding for IDEA. The bill failed on a vote of 
209-224. All Democrats and 22 Republicans voted against the bill. Many 
of those voting against the bill cited the inadequate funding levels 
for education programs.
